> Besloten vennootschap (BV - société à responsabilité limitée) Cette société peut être établie par une ou plusieurs personnes, physiques ou morales, doit avoir un directeur et un siège social. Le capital social minimum est 1 EUR.

> Naamloze Vennootschap (N.V. - Société anonyme)  Ce type d’entreprise peut être établi par une ou plusieurs personnes, physiques ou morales, doit avoir un administrateur, un conseil d'administration et un conseil de surveillance. Le siège social est dans ce cas aussi obligatoire. Le capital social minimum est de 45,000 EUR.

> Dutch General Partnership (Vennootschap Onder Firma – similaire à la société en participation). C'est une structure qui ne nécessite pas un capital social minimal, mais qui n’a pas une personnalité juridique. Les associés sont collectivement et individuellement responsables des dettes et des obligations de la société seulement à la limite de la contribution individuelle au capital social

> Succursale, filiale ou bureau de représentation- Toute société étrangère est en mesure de mettre en place des succursales en Hollande. Ceux-ci peuvent avoir le statut d'entité distincte de la société mère (entreprises enregistrées en Hollande, dans lesquelles la société mère est le seul actionnaire) ou des extensions de la société mère.

Pour qu'une société puisse être considérée comme résidente et, par conséquent bénéficier des avantages du système fiscal aux Pays-Bas il est nécessaire d'avoir un siège social et de nommer un administrateur local, tous deux fournis par une société de fiducie néerlandaise.
