The Register Court of the Czech Republic is the institution responsible with company registration, being regulated by the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic. Its main attributions revolve around company registration, ensuring every entity is functioning according to law. Also the institution provides a reliable source of information for the public and other legal entities.

The institution stores information on companies in the database, maintaining it updated. Besides storing information, the Register Court of the Czech Republic develops different projects with the scope of improving communication between entrepreneurs and state authorities. Anyone can request information on these projects, offering support and choosing to participate in it.

The information stored by the Register Court of the Czech Republic is available to the public by a simple inquiry online, or at one of the offices of the Register Court throughout the territory of the Czech Republic. A search can be conducted by implementation of certain criteria, as date of incorporation, company name etc. Also the founders of a company must notify the Register Court of the Czech Republic of any changes interfere. This may refer to replacement of directors, change of address etc.

Registering a company through the Register Court of The Czech Republic is done by filling an application containing articles of association, company address, names of directors, specimen signatures etc. The application is submitted by the company’s executive body within 90 days from the signing of the Articles of Association. The registration forms used for company incorporation are created by the Ministry of Justice. Each company is registered at the county court of which they belong, having the headquarters in its jurisdiction. The process is quite rapid, and in case the registration certificate is not issued, it’s probably due to insufficient information which can be provided afterwards. After the registration process the founders receive an extract from the Commercial Register announcing the company incorporation.

Information stored by the Commercial Register of the Czech Republic is available to anyone, facilitating the communication process between state authorities, foreign investors, entrepreneurs and public.
