1. What is the minimum share capital?
An entrepreneur who wants to set up a business in France, can choose between the formation of a limited liability company or a joint stock company. The first type does not require a minimum share capital higher than one euro, but when it comes to a joint stock corporation, it is necessary to provide a minimum share capital of 37,000 EUR, out of which half must be paid up before registration.

A local accountant is recommended for a company registered in France, since a specialized person knows best how to deal with the system and how calculate taxes and invoices. 7. What is the yearly corporate tax?
The standard corporate tax rate that any company in France has to pay yearly is 33.33%, but small-sized businesses and new companies may benefit from a reduced tax.
8. What is the yearly dividend tax?
The annual dividend tax rate for dividends paid to nonresident companies is 25%. There are however exceptions, when the dividends are exempt from tax or benefit from a reduced tax.
